Telecommuter Denied Unemployment Insurance in NY

A woman who lived in Florida but telecommuted for a New York company was denied her claim to collect unemployment insurance from New York State, according to an article in Newsday. As telecommuting increases in popularity as an alternative to traditional work options, this won't be the last we hear about this issue.
