Wife's Career vs. Husband's Aspirations
Monday January 19, 2004
Judith Steinberg, wife of presidential hopeful Howard Dean, has been criticized for not being at her husband's side during the campaign. Steinberg is a physician who has chosen to continue to devote herself to her career even as her husband fights to win the democratic presidential nomination. Does this make Dean a less viable candidate? Does it make Steinberg a bad wife? Would people expect the husband of a presidential candidate to put his career on hold for his wife's political aspirations? Tell us, do you think Dr. Steinberg should put her career on hold during her husband's campaign? Vote here.
