Graduate School or Not?

Do you need to go to graduate school? Some fields require an advanced degree if you want to get any job at all. However, there are many other fields where an advanced degree may be helpful but isn't required. How then can you decide whether or not to commit your time and money to pursuing a master's or doctorate degree?
