Planning Your Career

People sometimes go about choosing a career in a haphazard fashion. For example, "my father told me to be a teacher," "my Aunt Millie said her friend's son was making good money in real estate," or "I spoke to a chef the other day and she seemed happy and I do know how to cook ..." These aren't the best ways, or even good ways, to choose a career. You should put a lot of thought into something that will consume at least eight hours of each working day of your life. Here are the steps you should take to plan your career.
