The Simpsons Movie is a big hit this summer just like the tv show has been since it debuted as a regular series in 1989. It has certainly outlived many live action shows. For one thing, it's often funnier. The producers also don't have to worry about actors making absurd contract demands. Whaaaat? Those aren't real actors and actresses. Yeah, sometimes I forget too. Actually, without the people who do the character's voices, the show couldn't go on either. Fortunately they haven't made any crazy demands.
