Pet Groomer: Career Brief

When Uno the Beagle won the Westminster Dog Show last week it was big news.

He was the first of his breed to win Best in Show at Westminster. Generally the dogs that take the highest honors at dog shows are of the well-coiffed variety. Beagles, with their short coats, probably need little done to make them look beautiful. I doubt, though, that groomers have much to worry about. It seems like everywhere I go people have little dogs with highly-styled hairdos. And, I know that those who carry around their dogs in little pink purses will go to great expenses to make sure their pets look perfect.
