My husband works for a major university with a penchant for making some really silly decisions. For example, each semester most on-campus dining facilities are closed as soon as classes end, but before finals week is over. That means students have limited food options during a time when they should be concentrating on studying rather than on where to eat. This week the university closed a large parking facility for maintenance even though there are summer session classes being held and faculty and students must have somewhere to park. Couldn't they do that during August when there aren't any classes taking place?
It seems many organizations make some poor decisions not necessarily ill intentioned, just silly. Some do it regularly while others only occasionally. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. What has your employer done that has made you scratch your head and say ""what were they thinking?" Share your stories by posting your comments below.
