Dos and Don'ts of Salary Negotiation

I've yet to meet anyone who enjoys negotiating a salary. Sure, you like the outcome ... if it's successful. Talking to your boss (or future boss) about money is probably not your favorite thing to do. Even so, it is sometimes necessary. Rather than taking a haphazard approach to salary negotiation, better figure out the right way to do it. Here are some tips that will help you get the salary you deserve (or something close to it).
