Jobfox Introduces New Feature
Don't you hate it when you respond to a job listing by submitting your resume and never hear anything about it ever again? Did they receive your resume, decide you weren't qualified, hire someone from within or what? Did your resume fall into some black hole? Jobfox, an online job board, just launched a new service that promises to remedy that problem. This new feature is called Job Intros and it seems like it can best be described as a matchmaker for job seekers. When you see a job in which you are interested, you send an intro to Jobfox, which then in turn, introduces you to the employer. Before it can do that, Jobfox learns about you by asking you a series of questions. If Jobfox considers you highly matched for a particular job, Jobfox contacts the employer through email and phone to help facilitate the process. This service is free to job seekers. It seems worth checking out.
Update: Jobfox Job Intros is now a premium service for which there is an additional charge. ~ DRM 12/16/2008

I usually agree with your recommendations for job boards but this Intros feature on Jobfox is a hoax. Plus they offer services that cost money so it isn’t exactly free.
Oh, and I never heard back from anyone who I was a 5-star candidate for. I get a report each week that says they sent a follow-up email. The report info is WEEKS old.
I see that Jobfox is progressively adding new features but it’s also always adding new gimmicks that cost the job seeker. All gimmicks promise more presence with an employer but it is a complete HOAX. Seems that everytime I login to Jobfox I get some new “advantage” offer but it will cost me upwards of $300.00. They promised the Intros for free to job seekers. Does Jobfox really send over 3,000 Intros per day at the cost of $30 per month?
the biggest problem you should woory about is not the $30 fee for intros that they are charging but thatthat jobfox has NO JOBS to match you to..
