Taking Minutes at a Meeting

You're sitting around a conference table at work waiting for a meeting to start when your boss suddenly realizes she needs someone to take minutes. As she looks around the room, you try to avoid eye contact. Too late. Her gaze lands on you, and she assigns you this task. Since the minutes will serve as an official record of the meeting, you want to make sure you do a good job. These pointers will prepare you for the next time this happens to you.
