Careers on the Cutting Edge
Thursday February 15, 2007
Those who work in the culinary arts generally report a high level of job satisfaction. Considering the crazy hours and the high stress atmosphere of a busy kitchen this fact may be a bit surprising. When you think of it, though, it's easy to see why this is true. Cooking is more than a job for those in the culinary field. Most people who pursue this career do it because cooking is a passion for them. And the icing on the cake (pun absolutely intended) ... jobs for chefs, cooks, and food preparation workers are expected to be plentiful in this field through the year 2014, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
