Public Relations Specialist: Career Brief

Thursday March 6, 2008
There's a saying that goes "There's no such thing as bad press." I wonder how many public relations specialists would agree. I think most would not. The job of a public relations specialist is to spread his or her client's message to the public. Public relations specialists do this by writing press releases and distributing them to those in the media who will, in turn, print or broadcast that information, which generally is positive. They also make presentations on behalf of their clients and represent their clients at meetings and events.

Do you think you might like working as a public relations specialist? Read Public Relations Specialist: Career Brief to learn about educational requirements, earnings and job outlook for this field. Find out what a day in the life of a public relations specialist consists of and see where you can go to get more information on this occupation.
