Definition: A value inventory will ask you to answer questions about the extrinsic and intrinsic values that are important to you, i.e. earning a high salary, making a contribution to society, and having a prestigious job

Examples: The value inventory Steve took indicated that a high salary isn't important to him, while making a contribution to society is.
