Marketing & Public Relations consultant

I have been working in Public Relations and Marketing for over 23 years starting with my first job right out of college. I have worked in event marketing in civic centers and shopping centers, nonprofit organizations, media buyer, and in the last 6 years in the heavy highway and infrastructure industry. Fast-paced, Never Boring, always exciting describes my career. I have found the niche of PR that I most enjoy, and see so much opportunity to create positive publicity positioning for the company I work for. I graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh with 10 internships. My advice to college students considering this field is to attend a college or university in a city where you can gain the practical experience needed to jumpstart your career.
